2nd Nano Table - 20 July 2008

The 2nd "Nano Table" took place on July 20th from 9:30am to 12pm (drop in) at the Northside Farmers Market, and dealt with Nanotechnology in Food and Agriculture.

Citizens brought questions and comments to help make sure that citizens "have a voice at the table:"

- What research is being done on nanotechnology & food in Wisconsin and elsewhere?
- What are the actual and potential applications of nanotechnology related to food?
- What are the potential risks of nanomaterials in food?
- Do the benefits outweigh the risks?
- What are the pros and cons of a regulation in this field?
- What do we need to know and why?
