Wisconsin legislators ask for study on the feasibility of state nanotechnology registry -
On Dec. 16, 2009, three Wisconsin state representatives, Terese Berceau, Chuck Benedict, and Penny Bernard Schaber, asked for a Legislative Council study to be conducted on the feasibility of creating a nanotechnology registry and the development of subsequent legislation to monitor the use, manufacture, and disposal of nanomaterials in Wisconsin.
